My Story
My spiritual journey began in my early twenties, though the roots of it reach much further back. As a child, I was chubby and bullied for my weight, which led me to start dieting at just nine years old. By fourteen, I was dangerously thin and had lost my period. Though I appeared to have “succeeded,” I had actually begun a long cycle of disconnection from my body and my true self. Later, in college, the pendulum swung in the other direction — I developed a binge-eating disorder. What I once used to control myself had turned into something that controlled me.
I began reading psychology books to understand what was happening, but it wasn’t until I stumbled upon Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth that something shifted on a deeper level. His words didn’t just inform me — they awakened me. They spoke a truth I had always known inside, a truth that felt like home. That book opened the door to a lifelong journey of spiritual and emotional healing.
Over the years, I explored everything from therapy, yoga, and Reiki to trauma healing, spiritual psychology, and energy work. I began to see that food was never the real problem — it was simply a symptom of deeper beliefs about unworthiness, fear, and disconnection, derived from trauma. I learned that healing wasn’t about fixing myself; it was about remembering who I truly am beneath the layers of conditioning.
At the same time, another calling never stopped whispering: music. Since childhood, I had dreamed of being a singer and artist, but I was told that it wasn’t realistic — that I should get a degree and a “real job.” I tried to follow that path, but deep down, I knew I was betraying something essential within me. The pain of that disconnection became one of my greatest teachers. It ultimately gave me the courage to leave Belgium, move to the United States, and follow my own path — both spiritually and creatively.
Looking back, I’m deeply grateful for the path I took. It led me through so many adventures and allowed me to experience life from countless perspectives — working with children in schools and in private family settings, with teenagers going through mental health challenges, working in restaurants, for a non-profit, and even in the corporate world as a team leader for Nike. These experiences gave me a broader, more compassionate view of life and people, which now makes me a better coach, healer, and human. And truthfully, had I entered the music industry as a teenager, it could have come with consequences I wasn’t ready for then. I’m thankful I got to live and learn before stepping fully into my purpose.
Through this journey, I discovered that our deepest wounds often point directly to our purpose. My struggles with food, self-worth, and fear of expression all became catalysts for awakening. They taught me compassion, emotional mastery, and the truth that freedom is an inside job.
From that realization, The Soulicious Method was born — a synthesis of everything I’ve learned through years of healing, study, and embodiment. It combines E4 trauma healing, Reiki, holistic and integrative wellness coaching, and spiritual psychology with universal principles that bridge science, soul, and creation. Over the years, I’ve earned several Master degrees and certifications — in communication, wellness, coaching, and healing modalities, such as E4 Trauma healing — yet I’ve learned not to place too much value on them. Knowledge is important, but true mastery comes from lived experience, embodiment, and the ability to hold space for real transformation.
Today, I help others do the same — to awaken their inner spark, transform their pain into purpose, and create a life that feels truly Soulicious. I’ve also released two music EPs and am currently finishing my first full album — because healing, to me, isn’t just inner work; it’s also self-expression, creativity, and joy.
At the heart of everything I do is one message: You are not broken. You are awakening.
And when you align with your truth, life becomes what it was always meant to be — deliciously, unapologetically, Soulicious.
